Are you aware or don't care that, somewhere, a kid is being bullied as you read this post? Are you aware or don't care that, somewhere, a kid is sluggish and restless because they were up all night, crying and tired of being picked on. Are you aware or don't care that, somewhere, a kid that is fed up of being bullied is contemplating suicide, right now? What if that kid were your own child? What if that kid is of kin? And most significantly, what if the victim is of no relations to you, but simply needed your help? Would you help them?
With that being said, We have to do something. Not now, but RIGHT NOW! (For those of you that do care)
At this time, I, Dwight L Fields, am, respectfully, reaching out to all Government and State Officials, Officers, Executives, Lawmakers, and everyone in between.
I am reaching out to all affiliates and members linked to the State Board of Education; Representatives, Superintendents, Board members, Principals, Counselors, Teachers, etc., in all states.
I am reaching out to Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WorldStarHipHop, Yahoo, and all of the superior social media sites that we're all associated with, and all the ones in-the-making.
I am reaching out to Apple, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Nokia, and all the others, alongwith, their providers.
And, most importantly, I'm reaching out to (YOU) as an individual, if you're in a situation where you can assist with this movement of Change; Protection; Safety; Security; Happiness; Justice; and Peace for our children.
For all the children and individuals who are victims of bullying or bully-like situations, I propose to all, the *BPP.
(Now, before I propose the details, I must admit that I, personally, don't possess the capital or resources needed to accomplish such a colossal protection plan. All I possess is what I'm doing now. Therefore, I propose this to you in hopes that we can make this happen or at the least, it be implemented, period.)
Moving forward, What's the *BPP? The *BPP is a Bullying Personal Protection mobile device application that will link to, either a superior social media site or a local one that's designed for the specific cause of protecting the applicant. With the App, the victim will remain logged in. (The application must link to the protected applicant's verified social media page, to prevent misuse.) It's similar to the ADT, but protects the individual instead of the home. With this new application, the victim (when threatened) sends the alert via panic button from his or her mobile device; a *BPP alert is then broadcasted over social media sites and local mobile devices, informing possible protectors of the victims first name, and that a bullying is about to take place in the circumscribed area against the said victim.
There are set options, if need be. Say, if the victim is in school and the threats are set at a particular time (like, after school). The victim would then punch in the particular time to broadcast the alert.
The objective is to show the victims of bullying that they're not alone. Also, We (the people), all need to give an assisting hand and help put an end to these criminal acts. This new application of protection would be beneficial by making as many people as possible aware of the threats and/or attacks before they happen. During the already started offenses, all available individual(s) are then encouraged to assist the victim(s) by safely stopping the altercation; to alert authorities, and if possible, to snap photos (that would be advertised over the agreed upon social media sites for prosecution purposes).
We all have to play a part if we would like to see the bullying end!
